Tourism
Tourism opportunities are numerous. There are tour buses which leave directly from a main point 5 minutes walk from the apartment which can take you on trips to Barcelona, for example. Regular local buses to the nearby town of Roses. You can take a trip to cultural centres such as the Dali museum in Figueres or his nearby home town of Cadaques.
Ancient Roman ruins nearby in La Escala (15 minutes by car).
Travel information
Empuriabrava is easily accessible from either Gerona (45 minutes) or Perpignan (1 hour) airports. Barcelona airport is 2 hours by car.
Self drive hire cars are available from all of these airports.
We can arrange for a car with an English driver to collect you from the airport. Cost for Gerona is 65 euros for up to 4 people, 100 euros for 5 or 6 people each way.
By road, Empuriabrava is 15 km north-east from Figueres, 150 km north-east from Barcelona, 35 km from French border. : access via a good road.

Where is it?
Empuriabrava, in the Bay of Roses, is the biggest marina in Europe. This is a well-known holiday destination, in the north-eastern part of the region directly by the sea, in a busy position.
This is a lovely residential Marina with more than 30 km of sea water canals, and two beaches with golden sands. The canals, which are especially beautiful, allow direct access by boat to the houses built on its banks. There is direct access for swimming in the canal from the terrace.
Local amenities
Supermarkets, shops, butchers, bakers, boutiques, post office, bank, restaurants, bars, disco, evening entertainment all within minutes walk. Fitness centre with swimming pool, sauna, gym etc nearby.
The long sandy 2km-long beach is within a few minutes easy walk.
Sports
Skydiving centre, water sports harbour, natural park with riverside walks, boat hire, fishing, cycling, tennis, horse riding, organised boat trips, bowling, all available within Empuriabrava.
Water Park nearby with free bus service.

General description of the villa
This big air-conditioned villa is in a quiet residential road (no through traffic). It is very modern and has 4 bedrooms
and 4 modern fully-tiled bathrooms, with double glazing throughout. It is in 2 parts : a house on the ground floor
for 6 people (3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms) and a fully self-contained apartment for 2 people in the tower upstairs
(with access via the exterior staircase – see photo) with one bedroom, bathroom and corner kitchen.
There is a secure space for parking 2 cars in the front drive (locked grills). The villa has beautiful large terraces,
and is situated directly on the canal with its own private mooring of 12m. With a private pool of 8m X 4m, it offers a
fabulous environment which enables our guests to spend their holidays in this calm, relaxing place.

Booking Notes
The rental price is for the whole villa for 8 people for one week.
Rentals are from Saturday to Saturday.
Terms and Conditions
1. 50% of the rental price is due to be paid in advance at the time of reservation.
2. The reservation will be confirmed once the 50% has been received.
3. The remaining 50% of the rental price is due to be paid 4 weeks before your arrival
4. The charge for the cleaning (135€), the breakages deposit (500€) and the amount for the linen hire (if required), must be paid in cash on your arrival at the villa.
5. Our guests are requested to arrive between 16h00 and 19h00 on the first day of rental, and should leave the villa between 8h00 and 10h00 on the last day. It is sometimes possible to arrive to arrive or to leave outside of these hours on request although this also depends on the other rentals.
